    Frequently asked questions

    Air is drawn in by an energy-efficient, brushless DC motor. This air then exits the loop amplifier as a high velocity jet, creating an area of low pressure that draws in air from behind the fan. As the jet of air leaves the front of the loop amplifier, more air is drawn from the surroundings due to ‘viscous shearing’, amplifying the initial airflow even further.

    You simply need to wipe the loop amplifier with a cloth. There’s no grille to remove or fiddly blades to worry about.

    Press the oscillation button on the left-side of the machine to cycle through a range of angles, up to 70 degrees.

    Exact costs can vary due to fluctuations in energy prices, but a brushless DC motor draws only 30 watts of power at maximum fan speed for energy efficient cooling. It also has a customisable sleep timer for no wasted energy.
